Motivation
I moved to San Francisco in the summer of 2005 and I immediately fell in love with the city.
In the years since, I have made friends, planted roots, and watched the city evolve.
While I absolutely love the city and want my kids to grow up right here, I noticed how the booming tech industry has greatly benefited from the support of the city, the communities, and the local businesses. But it didn’t give enough support and love back.
Local businesses are the soul of the city. I understand the tech challenges business owners face and I want to help.
I see needs in the community. This is a gap tech companies are not willing to fill because it doesn’t make the news headlines or get the next round of big VC funding. I am not chasing any of those things. I want to support local businesses and help make the city better.

I have been rooted in San Francisco for over 21 years and am raising 2 kids right here in the community.
I watched the tech boom transform the city but our local businesses, the soul of our city, were lagging behind.
